FEATURES
No-Sweat Cabinet
We use a combination of structural urethane foam and fiberglass
blanket insulation for a higher combined R-factor than just
fiberglass alone. The result is a cabinet that does not sweat
due to condensation during low temperature operation.
The window
is constructed of 6 panes of tempered glass separated by low-conductivity
spacers to keep thermal losses to a minimum. Our unique design
virtually eliminates exterior window sweating during normal temperature
cycling conditions.
The stainless-steel
interior liner is heliarc welded, while the refrigeration compartment
behind the liner is double-insulated and carefully sealed. These
design features reduce thermal losses and prevent moisture migration,
ensuring years of optimum performance while keeping the cabinet
rust-free.
Reliability
& Safety Thats Designed In
Non-CFC refrigerant
is used. Expansion valves provide optimum performance throughout
the operating range. Liquid injection ensures cool compressor operation
during high-temperature pull down for long life. The compressor
is protected by a high/low pressure switch. Care has been taken
to use a minimum number of fittings, joints and welds to reduce
the possibility of refrigerant leaks.
All electrical
control components are UL approved. Each branch circuit is individually
fused. A main power disconnect switch is provided on the front
panel. The nichrome air-heater has a low watt-density and even
heat distribution for reliable performance and fast response.
A fusible link provides fail-safe protection against thermal
runaways, in addition to the microprocessor-based high/low limit
controller.
The side and
rear panels are removable to permit complete access to the refrigeration
system for ease of service and preventive maintenance. Shown
above with the optional circular chart recorder, which mounts
conveniently in the front. |
